Boston Bruins @ Minnesota

Minnesota Wild have won only one out of the last five games. They managed to beat the Islanders in their latest game at the Xcel Energy Center last Friday. They have not played since then. Bruins played on Monday and they beat the St Louis Blues 4-2. Marc Savard made his return agains the Blues. He did not look ready to me but his return surely made a good impact on the team.

Their powerplay was very good against the Blues and they scored 2 on 3 attempts. They limited the Blues to 29 shots and Rask made 29 saves. He has been pretty good replacing the injured goaltender Tim Thomas. Thomas will remain sidelined tonight.

Except Thomas, Bruins are 100% healthy and we can expect to see a better Marc Savard tonight after his return on Monday.

Minnesota Wild are going to be without Havlat, Sykora, Burns and Bouchard while Kobasew is expected to return tonight.

Bruins are 11-8-4 this season but I believe it will get better as the team is finally a healthy squad. They had been playing without Savar and Lucic.

Bergeron was amazing on Monday as the player was credit for an assist on every goal Bruins scored in St Louis. He is expected to start tonight as well.

Minnesota is 8-1 SU in its last 9 games when playing Boston. This is surely a solid record for the Wild against the Bruins but I don't really take it into account as those nine games were played in a long span of 9 years. Many things have changed and this Boston Bruins team has all the quality and they are 100% healthy for almost the first time this season compared to poor form of Minnesota Wild. Wild have won only once in their last five games and that was a very narrow victory against the Islanders when they had to kill six penalties.

I believe Bruins will only get better with the return of Marc Savard and the form of Krejci, Bergeron and goaltender Rask.
