Boston Bruins @ Pittsburgh :

Playing without Evgeni Malkin, Penguins have not scored a powerplay goal. Their last defeat was at home against the New Jersey Devils after taking the lead 1-0. They couldn't stop the Devils who are perfect on road this season and the Devils won that one 4-1.

Sidney Crosby looked dangerous but he looked alone in the offensive areas. Injuries like Sergei Gonchar, Evgeni Malkin, Talbot, Kennedy and finally Chris Kunitz. That makes 1/3 of this team.

Malkin may be back on ice tonight but the others will remain sidelined.

Boston Bruins have scored only 8 goals in a five match span and they finally lost the game at home to the Florida Panthers. They had played pretty good in first two periods but somehow could not score on 30 shots. Then came the Panthers victory in shoot out.

They are still without all star player Marc Savard and forward Milan Lucic. On the plus side Tim Thomas has been good and he has not allowed many goals.

Penguins may win this one if they get Malkin back tonight. Their powerplay looked out of order against the Devils when they wasted three chances in that game.

Boston Bruins have consistently allowing fewer goals and scoring as few as that. With the injuries for the Penguins, they are not likely to score many against a top form Tim Thomas.

This game looks like it will be a low scoring one.
