New Jersey Devils @ Pittsburgh :
Losing four games of the last five was not exactly what the Pittsburgh Penguins expected to see when the Penguins started a road trip after losing a home game to the Minnesota Wild.
Penguins were blanked in Boston after they were also shut out in San Jose. 5-0 was the score against the Sharks. Then the 3-0 against the Boston Bruins.
Gonchar, Malkin, Talbot, Kennedy and Letang are still out for the Pittsburgh Penguins and things have been going worse and worse without these players.
Devils played last night against the Ducks and I can not say it was as difficult as I thought it would be. Ducks were awful on powerplays and they even let a shorthanded goal by the New Jersey Devils.
Brodeur only conceded one goal and made some pretty good saves.
Penguins will try harder tonight to snap their three game losing streak. Against a team like the New Jersey Devils who are on a winning streak and the fact that New Jersey is 17-6 SU in its last 23 games when playing on the road against Pittsburgh, it doesn't look any good for the defending Stanley Cup Champions.
I expect a tight game as the Devils always play conservative. And the absence of the likes of Gonchar, Tablot and Malkin it will get harder to score a goal against a goaltender like Brodeur.
