Here is the part 2 of our Saturday NHL Picks.
Toronto Maple Leafs @ Montreal:
Things started to get better for the Leafs when they beat the Anaheim Ducks last monday. They however dropped two games later in a row. First in Dallas and then last night at the HSBC Arena against a streaking Buffalo Sabres. Sabres took the lead twice but the Leafs tied it up at dying seconds of the third period. It was a shorthanded goal but it was only good for 1 point as they lost the game in overtime.
Leafs have been playing better and better, unlike the Canadiens team who will still be without D'Agostini, Markov and O'Byrne.
Canadiens have won three in a row on home ice but then dropped two in a row. The last one came last night in Chicago. They were able to come back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the game but Hawks finished them off late in third. Price was between pipes and he did pretty good stopping 33 of 36 shots.
Last year it was all Maple Leafs in Montreal. They won both games with same scores 5-2 after losing 6-2 in the first game.
Phil Kessel might be in the lineup tonight for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The total has gone OVER in 5 of Montreal's last 5 games when playing Toronto.
Leafs and Canadiens will both be desperate for a victory tonight. I expect a very open game.
PREMIUM PICK: OVER 6 GOALS (OT and SO included)

Detroit Red Wings @ Calgary
Wings have lost 4 of the last 5. It is not like them at all. They have been struggling since the season started. Even the return of Pavel Datsyuk did not do it for them. They still lose games. It is mostly because of poor goaltending. They are dominating most of their games offensively but they concede way too easy goals like they did in Edmonton on Thursday. They had 45 shots to 33 for the Oilers but the Oilers won the game.
Osgood and Howard's performances have been below par. Detroit has the third worst defence in the league, allowing 3.7 goals per game. Detroit is third in the league in shots at 34.3 per game. There is a huge contradiction here. They don't have difficulties creating scoring chances but they have been poor in finishing.
Calgary Flames are 7-3-1 and they have won three in a row before losing to the Colorado Avalance on Wednesday. They had a quick 2-0 lead in that game but Avs came back perfectly to win the game.
Bourque has been hot for the Calgary Flames as Datsyuk has been for the Red Wings. Red Wings will be without Flippula tonight as Johan Franzen and Lilja have been out indefinitely.
Dusting Boyd of the Flames will probably miss this one too.
Looking at the attacking play of Calgary Flames and poor defending and netminding from Detroit Red Wings, we should see many goals tonight.
