Premium Picks : October 17

Another saturday night in the NHL and we have so many games to choose from.

We have two premium picks for you tonight.

Anaheim Ducks vs St Louis Blues: Second game in a six game homestand for the Ducks. They started well on wednesday as they beat the Wild, 3-2. Thanks to Corry Perry's magnificent start to the season, Ducks are now 3-2-1 in the first 6 games. They expect better results to follow at the Honda Center with a capacity crowd.

Blues have been inconsistent as they started with two impressive wins over the Detroit Red Wings only to follow with three losses in a row. This is pure inconsistency. They have three important injuries.

D.J. King    F    Out Indefinitely (thumb injury)
Alexander Steen    F    Out Indefinitely (broken wrist)

Ducks only have one injury as Wisniewski will miss this match too.

Jonas Hiller has been impressive with only 1.63 GA average.

I expect more from Getzlaf tonight as he has had only three points in first six games.

PREMIUM PICK 1 : ANAHEIM DUCKS TO WIN [MONEYLINE]

Toronto Maple Leafs vs New York Rangers: Leafs started terribly as they have gone 0-5-1with 4.67 Goals Against on average. They also have several key players on the injured players. Two goaltenders Gustavsson and Toskala are sidelined and they will start with MacDonald tonight who has played only one game.

Rangers on the other side have been superb, going 6-1-0 in their first seven games. Gaborik's have scored every game and Prospal have scored 10 points too. He has been just like Gaborik and these two have played the key roles in this successful start to the season.

We could say New York Rangers should win this one easily but we always see interesting results on saturday nights so I will go with over 5,5 goals for our second premium pick of the night.
