It could have been 2 for 2 last night but Washington Capitals wasted a 2-0 lead only 7 minutes from the end of the third period and they lost the game in shoot out.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs Colorado Avalanche:
Leafs tried to win their first game last night but NYR was too hot for them to handle even though it was their second game in as many nights. Rangers had the lead all through the game and Leafs couldn't keep up with their firepower in the third.
Avalanche has been pretty impressive so far as they have gone 3-1-1 in five games. They managed to beat the Boston Bruins on monday. The reports say David Jones will be available tonight after scoring a goal and an assist against the Bruins.
Toronto's injuries include winger Phil Kessel (shoulder), defenseman Mike Van Ryn (knee) and goalie Jonas Gustavsson (groin). These are all bad news for the struggling leafs. They still will go for their first win at home tonight. You can expect any score tonight but I believe Toronto has nothing to lose and they will attack Avs net with all the power they have left.
This game promises to be a high scoring one.
