Never really expected a performance like this from Senators against the top seeded Rangers. Their regular season record was a signal but I still thought Senators would really struggle against Rangers who have had their best season in a long time.
Rangers will try to survive tonight as the Senators are leading the series 3-2.
Alfredsson is expected to return tonight and if he doesn, he will surely contribute to strugglin offense of the Senators. Senators has a 2 goal average against the Rangers in this series.
Jason Spezza who scored both goals in the last 2-0 win in New York is leading his team with 2 goals and 2 assists while a Gaborik for the Rangers have been able to score just one goal in five games.
Both goaltenders have been pretty good allowing under 2 goals. It's partially due to the offensive problems with both teams. Some Rangers fans may be expecting an explosion by Marian Gaborik. If he does, Rangers can take the series back to MSG.
I will go with UNDER this one, mostly because each team will have to play carefull in the opening period and both goalminders have had great matches and this is the game their team needs them the most. Unless Gaborik decides to start scoring hat tricks tonight, this should be a low scoring game that has the potential to go to overtime.
