Boston Bruins @ Toronto Maple Leafs
Bruins are a very tough team and they don't allow goals easily however it was not the case in their latest match against the Sabres. They had two goal leads through the game but the Sabres managed to come back from behind to win the game 7-6. Rask was pulled after 20 mins but he is expected to be given another chance tonight when they face the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Leafs dropped three of their last five matches but they beat the Senators 5-1 in their latest game in Ottawa. Only 22 and 21 shots on goal in their latest games by the Leafs was not something we are used to. They are usually a team full of players like Phil Kessel who loves to shoot the puck on net every chance they get.
Bruins are one of the best road teams in the league with a 11-5-3 record but they had lost the last game at Air Canada Centre back in December.
Giguere is still out for the Leafs and Gustavsson will be between the pipes tonight where he has a 3.73 GAA and he has won only two of his last nine games.
Bruins look strong in this matchup but I will go with OVER in this one. Bruins have scored 3 or more goals in 4 of their last 5 games and Toronto has allowed 3 or more goals in its last 3 home games. Rask looked rusty against Buffalo and Gustavsson has been allowing way too many goals this season. I am expecting a high scoring game with at least 6 goals or more.
