Blues blew a 3rd period lead against the Coyotes as Halak allowed some soft goals. I like how they responded in third but they have been playing poorly on road this season. Ducks find a way to win games on home ice even when they are outshot by opponents and despite the fact that they are still without Getzlaf. I will side with Ducks in this one.

Colorado Avalanche @ Chicago Blackhawks
Avs succeeded in holding off the Detroit Red Wings who rallied in third period from a three goal deficit but in the end Colorado won 5-4. Duchene was impressive in that game but they still have injury problems whereas the Hawks are enjoying a healthy squad. Toews, Kane and Sharp did the trick for them in the latest 5-0 win over the NY Islanders. They were simply the better side on the ice in that game shooting 45 shots on Isles goal. Hawks lost the last game in December in Chicago against the Avs but they are 5-2 in last 7 games at home against Colorado. Avalanche has the third worst defence in the league at 3.2 goals per game and the healhty Hawks team has one of the best offenses in this league. This will make the difference tonight. Hawks surely.
PICK: CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS TO WIN [in regulation] [win]

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Montreal Canadiens
Pens blew a 2-0 lead against the Bruins late in third period. Bruins scored 4 goals in no time and won the match 4-2. It was something we don't see very often in the NHL. I don't like the Penguins team without Sidney Crosby. They just need their score leader on the ice and they have not been able to adopt to this absence dropping three games in a row already. Canadiens continue to win games. They beat the Rangers 2-1 on road to make it three wins in three games and also four wins in last five. They already beat the Penguins 2-1 6 days ago in Montreal and also in Pittsburgh back in October. Price will be in goal for Montreal and he is 2-0-0 this season against Penguins allowing only 3 goals. Without Crosby, I take Montreal to win this one.
