Calgary Flames @ Minnesota Wild
Two days ago, Flames lost to the Wild at Pengrowth Saddledome. Flames outshot the Minnesota Wild 29-16 that night but they were not able to score more than one goal. 3-1 was the final score.
Minnesota Wild have interesting results in their last five games. They lost on home ice to Senators but beat the Flames, Coyotes and Kings on road.
Injury wise, both teams have their own problems. Latendresse, Harding and Sheppard are all out indefinitely for the Minnesota Wild while Calgary Flames are without Langkow and Staios.
In the last 11 games between these teams, Wild beat the Flames 8 times on home ice and lost only 3.
Flames are 5-9-3 on road this season and Minnesota is 7-7-2 on home ice. You can expect any outcome from this match but only 48 hours after the match in Calgary, I expect a similar game where Minnesota Wild take advantage of their chances and continue their good form against the Flames at Xcel Energy Center.

Atlanta Thrashers @ Toronto Maple Leafs
If the Thrashers win tonight in Toronto, they will be the top team in the NHL. Following the skid of Washington Capitals, Thrashers are at 2nd place with 41 points only one point behind Capitals.
Toronto Maple Leafs have won two of their last five and they are coming off a road trip where they lost two matches, first in Calgary and then in Vancouver. They beat the Edmonton Oilers before those two games.
Leafs are one of the worst teams on road with a 4-10-1 record and they will be glad to be back at home.
Thrashers demolished the Devils with a 7-1 victory on Saturday . They had only 22 shots on goal but were able to score 7 goals.
Pavelec is one of the best goaltenders in the league and he will make another start tonight while Gustavsson will be in goal for Toronto. Gustavsson is without a win since November 18th.
Thrashers are playing very good this season and they were excellent against the Devils on Saturday. Toronto Maple Leafs are without Giguere and Gustavsson has not been playing at his best. They have defensive problems allowing too many goals on powerplays and they have a 2.3 Goals per game average which is 3rd worst in the NHL.
I will side with Atlanta in this one.
