Capitals are back home with a 3-2 lead in series against the defending champions Bruins. Boston Bruins despite dominating most of the 5th match, had to come back from behind in 2nd period and then 3rd only to lose the match after a late powerplay goal by Brouwer in the final two minutes of the match.

Capitals did not have a good regular season and they had to rally behind Buffalo Sabres and made their way to the playoffs. I don't think many people have expected Capitals to be at this point, coming home with a 3-2 series lead. Boychuk who scored the first powerplay goal for the Bruins. This explains pretty much why they are 3-2 down in series. They had all sorts of chances and they have been dominating most of the time in five matches so far but they scored only one powerplay goal and missed great chances in every match of the series. Capitals has had sharp shooters like Semin.

It's still not over for the Bruins and my money will be on them today. Their dominance in play should pay off in one match and I believe this is the game for them. They are desperate, they are defending champions, have great players and they know when it's time to win. Capitals have had a lot of luck in this series but it has to stop here. I'll go with Bruins in this one.
