I thought Devils had their best start to a NHL playoff game this season when they outshot the Flyers 11-0 in the first few 8 minutes of the first game. Danny Briere had different plans. Briere who had a disallowed goal didn't make a mistake in overtime and gave the Flyers their first win over the Devils in the series.
Now that the Flyers are leading 1-0 in series, Devils will feel the pressure even more tonight. They are yet to find a solution to their defensive problems. We were wrong about Capitals in the first game. We thought they would win the opening game at MSG as they would be facing a Rangers team, which I believe that has not been playing that great. However, the game had such a slow pace and it was better for a Rangers team who had a solid defense and a goaltender like Lundqvist. Lundqvist holds a fantastic 1.61 GAA in 8 matches. ->Read more »
